I like the fabric which is more of a rough canvas than that slippery fabric you normally see. I prefer the short strap that this one has versus the very long strap on some - I carry it by hand (not over a shoulder) and I found some with the long straps might "tip" when spun and if the container is not 100% spill proof that is no bueno for me.The lunch bag looks to be sturdily constructed - but I'm an office worker so I'll admit I'm not too hard on bags. It is quite roomy inside - with adequate space for a couple of containers (I use the EasyLunchboxes 3-compartment Bento Lunch Box Containers (Set of 4) and LOVE them!).
